周福宝（1976- ），男，江苏南京人，长江学者特聘教授、博士生导师、国家杰出青年基金获得者、“科学探索奖”获得者。现任中国矿业大学副校长，兼任国家能源行业煤矿瓦斯治理与利用标委员会副主任等职务。长期从事煤矿瓦斯与煤自燃防治、矿山安全及资源环境保护、城市公共安全、职业健康等工程科学研究。

   主持国家重点研发计划、国家杰出青年科学基金、国家自然科学基金重点（煤炭联合）项目、国家111学科创新引智基地项目、教育部创新团队发展计划等国家或省部级项目10余项、企业委托技术创新项目20余项。获国家科技进步二等奖3项（排名1、2、4）、国家技术发明奖1项（排名6）、省部级一等奖5项，获授权国家发明专利21件(第一发明人)；出版学术专著2部，主、参编教材各1部；发表SCI论文90余篇；作为副主编撰写了《煤矿总工程师技术手册》，参与制定国家安全生产标准2项。2017、2018、2019连续三年入选国际知名检索平台Elservier在安全、风险、可靠性和质量学科领域的中国高被引学者。

  个人曾荣获中国青年科技奖、中国工程院光华工程科技奖（青年奖）、新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选、中央组织部首届青年拔尖人才、国家有突出贡献的中青年专家、国家中青年科技创新领军人才、江苏省青年五四奖章、江苏省333高层次人才第一层次中青年首席科学家、江苏省优秀共产党员等荣誉称号。
