桑树勋,男,1967年11月出生,河北滦南人,博士,中国矿业大学教授(二级),低碳能源研究院院长、资源与地球科学学院博士生导师;先后入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划、江苏省“333高层次人才培养工程”中青年科技带头人等。任中国地质学会沉积地质专业委员会委员、中国地质学会煤炭绿色勘查开发专业委员会委员、中国煤炭工业技术委员会碳中和与资源综合利用专家委员会委员、国家煤炭标准化技术委员会煤岩分会副主任、中国西部研究与发展促进会碳中和创新发展委员会副主任、江苏省低碳技术学会副理事长,《沉积学报》、《煤炭科学技术》、《煤田地质与勘探》等编委。

长期从事能源地质与生态地质领域教学科研工作,主要研究方向包括煤系非常规天然气勘探开发(煤层气、煤系气、页岩气勘探与开发)、碳中和地质技术(CO2地质封存、煤层甲烷减排、生态地质及矿区降污减碳协同控制)、煤系战略性矿产与沉积地质。主持科研项目80余项,包括国家重大科研仪器研制项目1项、国家自然科学基金重点项目2项、国家重点研发计划课题1项、973项目课题1项、863项目课题1项、国家油气专项课题2项、教育部重大科学技术项目1项等重要研究项目。荣获教育部自然科学奖1等奖等省部级和行业科技奖励10项。授权中国、美国发明专利40余项,出版学术专著11部,发表学术论文300余篇。
